Reflections on The Burdah – Chapter 10 with Shaykh Mustafa Briggs
Chapter 10 of Imam al-Busiri’s Qasida Burdah turns our attention to the miracles of the Prophet ﷺ — moments where creation itself bore witness to his truth. From the splitting of the moon to water flowing from his blessed fingers, these signs remind us of his unique rank and the mercy he brought to the world.
In this session, Shaykh Mustafa Briggs will guide us through the verses, offering insights into their historical background and the timeless lessons they hold for us today. It’s a chance to appreciate not only the poetry of Imam al-Busiri but also the deeper spiritual realities the Burdah continues to carry across generations.
